Inspiring Youth Through Life Changing Group

Imad Hadar together with his co-founders of Life Changing Group

Imad Hadar, widely known for his achievements in the kickboxing world, is making waves outside the ring with his growing impact on youth through his organization, Life Changing Group. Alongside co-founders Abel Tamata and Mervan Duran, Hadar has been dedicating his time to mentoring and inspiring young people who face challenges in their personal lives. With a focus on empowerment and personal development, Life Changing Group is making a difference in communities across the Netherlands by providing guidance to at-risk youth, particularly those in juvenile detention centers.

Hadar’s involvement in Life Changing Group is deeply personal. Having faced his own struggles growing up as a child of Moroccan immigrants in Rotterdam, he understands the importance of having positive role models and a support system. “I know what it feels like to be lost or feel like you don’t have many options,” Hadar shared during a recent public appearance at a youth center in Rotterdam. “That’s why I’m committed to helping these young people realize that their circumstances don’t define their future.”

The organization offers workshops, mentorship programs, and motivational talks aimed at teaching life skills such as discipline, goal setting and resilience. One of the key elements of the program is encouraging youth to take ownership of their lives and make positive choices despite difficult surroundings. “We want them to understand that they have the power to change their situation,” Hadar explained. “It’s about realizing your potential and taking steps toward achieving your goals.”

A Personal Mission

For Hadar, Life Changing Group is more than just a project—it’s a mission. His own journey from a struggling teenager to an international kickboxing champion has given him unique insight into how sports and mentorship can transform lives. “Kickboxing taught me discipline, focus, and how to push through adversity,” he said during one of his motivational speeches. “But not everyone has access to that kind of structure or support. That’s what we’re trying to provide through Life Changing Group.”

Hadar’s passion for helping others extends beyond just words. He regularly visits juvenile detention centers and schools where he shares his story of overcoming obstacles both in his personal life and professional career. His message resonates deeply with young people who often feel like they are stuck in a cycle of negativity or bad decisions. “When they see someone like Imad—someone who came from similar circumstances—they start to believe that they can achieve something too,” said co-founder Abel Tamata.

Expanding Impact

Since its founding in 2021, Life Changing Group has expanded its reach significantly. The organization now works with multiple institutions across the country, including schools, community centers, and correctional facilities. In addition to providing motivational talks and workshops, they also offer one-on-one coaching sessions for young people who need more personalized guidance.

The impact of the program is already being felt by those involved. Many participants have reported improvements in their self-esteem, decision-making abilities, and overall outlook on life. “It’s amazing to see the transformation,” Hadar said proudly. “Some of these kids come from really tough backgrounds, but when you give them the tools and support they need, they start to believe in themselves.”

Looking ahead, Hadar and his team have ambitious plans for Life Changing Group. They hope to expand their programs internationally and continue reaching more youth who could benefit from their guidance. “This is just the beginning,” Hadar said with determination. “We’re going to keep growing and keep changing lives.”
